Client's Notes

My boyfriend proposed to me with a ring that was passed down from his grandmother which was really sweet. After I said yes, we decided to go to Engage to have the center stone reset into a custom setting. I love the fine scrolling typical in antique rings and had it incorporated into my design.

Designer's Notes

Heirloom pieces are always a pleasure to work with. All the fine details along the ring and the gallery were all engraved by hand. There are cheaper ways to bring out the engraving pattern but true hand engraving is the only way to bring out the highest quality engraving details. It's a shame that engraved rings are so hard to photograph because this ring is absolutely gorgeous!
