My love for pear-shaped diamonds began when I saw a stunning estate piece in a store while I was on vacation. I couldn't quite find anything like the piece I saw ever again in any of the stores I visited. So instead of trying to find it, I sketched out the design I had in mind. All I can say is that the finished piece blew all my expectations out of the water!

Designer's Notes

In order for us to be able to pull of this design successfully, we had to have plenty of pear-shaped diamonds to choose from. It was very important that all the pear-shaped side diamonds were perfectly matched. After sorting through hundreds of diamonds, we were able to pull out the perfect pairs. The look on April's face when she saw the ring was priceless to say the least.
